Audiovisual Media Services Directive (TVWF) Working Group |

The Television Without Frontiers Directive has been revised by the European Commission to become the Audiovisual Media Services Directive. It caused huge interest in the digital media and technology world because it proposed extending rules which previously applied to ‘traditional television’ to new forms of online, on-demand audiovisual media.

|
To help UK industry lobby effectively as the Directive made its way through the EU process, and to work collaboratively with the UK government and Ofcom, the BSG formed a cross-industry stakeholder group. The group included over 100 members from across the media, telecoms and technology sectors.
