This privacy policy sets out how Intellect on behalf of BSG and protects any information that you give to us when you use this website.

Intellect is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What data do we collect?

From time to time, in order to receive or use services on this website you may be asked to submit information about yourself. This information may include, name and job title, telephone and mobile numbers and email address and demographic information such as, postal address including post code, business interests and preferences. These services include BSG membership, BSG events and working groups, newsletters, reports and submissions, discussion forums and blogs. For event registration purposes your name and address and other personal information such as dietary requirements will be requested.

What do we do with the information we collect?

Intellect records information about the services and publications and other products you have selected on a database. This and the information that you provide is held by Intellect and may used by the BSG from time to time for sending information to you about BSG activities, BSG services and BSG publications and other related activities the BSG executives feel you may find interesting. This is subject to any objection or preference you may indicate when submitting your details.

The BSG may contact you by telephone, fax, post or email.

Third party processors

It may be necessary for Intellect to transfer your information to third party processors, such as mailing houses, partners in joint ventures or companies contracted to run BSG events. Arrangements are made to ensure that such information is adequately protected.

Other third parties

Any personal information received from you will be retained by Intellect and not sold transferred or otherwise disclosed to any third party, unless such disclosure is required by law or other court order.

Intellect is committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure Intellect has put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How we use cookies
