BSG Executive Committee

The BSG Executive provides the strategic leadership for the BSG and is chaired by the BSG's independent chair. The Executive is the ultimate decision making body with responsibility to oversee the BSG's work programme and approve BSG positions, recommendations and published reports.

Working Groups

The Working Groups are responsible for investigating specific strategic issues across the BSG agenda.

Advisory Council

The Advisory Council exists to provide a forum for regular engagement with senior executives and decision-makers and act as a sounding board to discuss progress in implementing the strategy. The Council has no formal decision-making role and works in an advisory capacity providing feedback to the Chair and CEO.

Operations Board

The Operations Board is a sub-group of the Executive and exists to provide operational oversight of BSG on issues such as membership, funding, governance, member engagement and budget etc. It is responsible for nominations to and membership of the groups and committees in order to ensure the independence and appropriate breadth of representation.
